Итак, подытоживая первые несколько дней в Блэксберге, могу сказать, какие три слова будут определять дальнейшие четыре с лишним месяца моего здесь пребывания.

Жизнь в деревне.

С коровками, курами и всякой шастающей вокруг дикой живностью.
(тут еще белки и опоссумы есть, а также вполне себе не боящиеся людей лесные сурки).

Что ж, у меня есть свое жилье, велосипед, фотоаппарат, вайфай и три компьютера. И выводок подопытных очень милых крыс - так что скучать я не буду.
