Словом, умственные способности ребенка будут зависеть главным образом от среды, в которой его воспитывали. А значит, от личности родителя/родителей, которые его воспитали. И от уровня жизни семьи, от того, может или не может эта семья дать ребенку должный уровень образования.

Впрочем, наверное, и от уровня понимания родителями истинных потребностей ребенка. Насильственное выпихивание в те сферы жизни, к которым маленький человек не проявляет интереса (личность, имхо, лучше кого бы то ни было стороннего знает, что ей нужно) - пустая трата нервов и денег.
