The reason for banning me from Donetsk appears to be a television piece that I did on my last trip to Ukraine, examining the story of a 10-year-old girl allegedly killed during Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk. Russian journalists admitted to me on camera that they had fabricated the report because they "had to do it".
